Dec 14, 2012 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana has taken delivery of its first A321 directly ordered from the Airbus factories.
The aircraft is one out of a total of six A320 Family aircraft ordered from Airbus in May 2008, and in the fleet of Air Astana are already 10 Airbus A320 aircraft including one A319, seven A320 and two A321.
Air Astana became an Airbus aircraft operator in March 2006, becoming Airbus' 10th aircraft operator in the CIS region.
