Dec 17, 2012 (newstodate): A Chinese company has emerged as the winner of a tender by Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport for provision of new passenger air bridges.
Beating several US and European competitors, Shenzhen CIMC-TianDa Airport Support Ltd. is now to provide the airport with six new air bridges at the airport's Terminal 1.
Installation of the new air bridges will commence in 2013 and be completed before the end of the year.
Offering a comprehensive range of airport equipment, the company was the world's first manufacturer to produce passenger boarding bridges for Airbus A380 aircraft, having won nearly 180 orders from European airport customers.
