Nov 16, 2012 (newstodate): The Icelandic low-cost carrier WOW Air plans to double its aircraft fleet for the summer 2013 program.
The carrier will see its program expanded after the recent acquisition of its competitor, Iceland Express, and will need two more Airbus A320 aircraft in addition to the two aircraft already in the fleet and operated by Avion Express.
-Avion Express is, however, not by definition poised to land the contract for the two additional Airbus aircraft, says David Masson, Avion Capital Partners partner and WOW Air board member.
-WOW Air will make its decision on purely commercial grounds to ensure the optimal solution to cover its needs for aircraft capacity.
