Nov 08, 2012 (newstodate): WFS Denmark at Copenhagen Airport is adding a new service to its existing portfolio.
Starting from November 1, 2012, the cargo terminal handling provider has been licensed to offer also ramp cargo handling, with Singapore Airlines Cargo and Air China Cargo as its launch customers.
-The new cargo ramp service is offered in cooperation with Novia that provides equipment and two staff complemented by our own resources, says Thomas Petersen, WFS Denmark station manager.
-With this addition we can offer an all-in agreement with airline customers which will further boost our competitiveness in the market, says Mr Petersen.
Since the launch of the new service, WFS has handled six freighters at the apron without any glitch in service.
Singapore Airlines Cargo has been a customer of the WFS terminal since February 1, 2009, while Air China Cargo has been handled by WFS Denmark since September 6, 2006, as one of the first customers at the terminal that started business at Copenhagen Airport in May 2006.
