Nov 08, 2012 (newstodate): New operator in 2012 of the Russian regional jet Superjet 100 will be Lao Central Airlines.
In June 2010, the carrier signed up for delivery of a total of three Superjet 100 aircraft, with options for a further six units.
According to plans, the first Superjet 100 will hit the fleet of Lao Central Airlines in December 2012, with the remaining two firm orders to be fulfilled in 2012.
Another new operator of the Superjet 100 in 2012 will be Indonesia's Sky Aviation that is to take in a total of 12 aircraft, with the first scheduled for 2012.
Already in service are two Superjet 100 with Armavia and 10 with Aeroflot.
