Nov 02, 2012 (newstodate): SAS Cargo managed to beat the negative trend in the Danish IATA export cargo market in September 2012.
The carrier came on top of the list with 956 tonnes of cargo, up 6.9 percent, y-o-y, in a market that was down 3.9 percent to 6,445 tonnes in September.
Second was KLM Cargo with 696 tonnes, but down 28.3 percent, while Lufthansa Cargo, #3 on the list, dropped 14.7 percent to 560 tonnes.
Fourth was Thai Airways Cargo with 489 tonnes, down 16.1 percent, followed by Korean Air Cargo with 456 tonnes and down 11.4 percent.
Emirates grew the most, to 432 tonnes and up 53.2 percent, securing the #6 position.
At the other end of the scale Air China Cargo fared the worst, with volumes down 40.2 percent to 221 tonnes and a position as #10.
