Nov 26, 2012 (newstodate): The new Georgian carrier Fly Georgia is preparing for a rapid increase in aircraft fleet.
In the air only since August 2012 with its first Airbus A319, the carrier added its second Airbus on November 20, and plans are to reach a fleet of five Airbus A320 Family aircraft already by March 2013.
In the business plan of the privately-owned Fly Georgia is the opening of flights from Tbilisi to destinations including Berlin, Minsk, Dubai, London, Rome, and Vilnius, besides the domestic route between Tbilisi and Batumi.
