Nov 22, 2012 (newstodate): The Kazakh airline SCAT has now launched flights to Kiev, in Ukraine.
The carrier is offering two weekly rotations on the route between Aktau, in Kazakhstan, and Kiev, using Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft.
Formerly serving the route, the Ukrainian carrier Aerosvit was forced to suspend services in May 2011 due to a reduction on the volumes of flight on Ukrainian carriers by the Kazakh aviation authorities protecting the national airline companies.
