Nov 28, 2012 (newstodate): Finnair has announced the opening in 2013 of yet another market on its Asian network: Vietnam.
Starting from July 14, 2013, the carrier will offer three weekly rotations on the route between Helsinki and Hanoi, in Vietnam.
Pending regulatory approvals, Finnair will operate the route until the end of the summer schedule on Oct 27, 2013.
With this latest addition, Finnair will become the only European airline to offer a direct connection from Europe to Hanoi, the carrier's 12th Asian destination after Bangkok, Beijing, Chongqing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
