Nov 15, 2012 (newstodate): Azerbaijan Airlines is planning for delivery of its first Embraer aircraft.
The carrier has signed a contract with ECC Leasing for lease of four Embraer 190 to be delivered by Q3 and Q4 in 2012.
In another deal with ECC Leasing, the carrier has also signed a purchase agreement for two Embraer 170 aircraft that will also be with the carrier by early 2013.
Azerbaijan Airlines is today operating a fleet comprising 27 Boeing, Airbus and ATR aircraft, with orders including two Boeing 787 aircraft.
