Nov 13, 2012 (newstodate): Latvia's airBaltic and Ukraine's Aerosvit are deepening their cooperation from the start of this winter schedule.
So far the two carrier have code-shared the flights between Riga and Kiev, but the code-share agreement has now been expanded to cover also Aerosvit's onward flights from Kiev to Donetsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Simferopol and Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine.
During its earlier "Sturm-und-Drang" period, airBaltic operated own flights from Riga to Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Simferopol and also had plans for flights to Kharkiv as well as Lviv.
