Oct 17, 2012 (newstodate): After the expiry of the deadline to file non-binding bids for the Slovenian carrier Adria Airways, a total of 10 parties emerged in the process.
But - one month after the deadline, no details on which airlines or partners signed up for the tender materials, not has any information on the further process been offered.
While the tender process thus remains veiled, the carrier now claims that it may not survive the winter program unless a nine mio euro loan is induced into its operation.
The requested loan was reportedly granted, but has still not been transferred leaving the carrier in mounting difficulties.
The carrier will be operating 169 regular weekly flights to 15 destinations from Ljubljana and three destinations from Pristina during the coming winter schedule 2012-13.
