Oct 29, 2012 (newstodate): For the first time in a long time, all four Nordic markets reported decline in IATA export airfreight volumes in September 2012.
Even the buoyant Norwegian market saw its volumes down after a sustained period with unbroken growth.
A total of 7,868 tonnes of IATA exports was scored in Norway, a decline by one percent, y-o-y.
In the Danish market, IATA carriers sold 6,445 tonnes of cargo, down 3.9 percent, y-o-y.
Sweden was again hit the worst, with volumes down 21.5 percent, y-o-y, to 8,199 tonnes, and finally Finland that saw its volumes down by 8.4 percent, y-o-y, to 3,248 tonnes.
