Oct 02, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Donavia, based at Rostov-on-Don, has decided to swap its Boeing 737 fleet in favor of Airbus aircraft.
All six Boeing 737 aircraft currently in the fleet of Donavia will be replaced during 2013 with Airbus A319 aircraft, the first two of which - earlier operated by Air Canada - have already been placed in service with the carrier during 2012.
Donavia also operates two Boeing 757-200 aircraft for a Russian tour operator.
