Oct 15, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Transaero has announced its winter schedule with an unprecedented number of destinations.
The carrier will operate flights to a total of 137 domestic and international destinations, which is an increase by 21.
Transaero is also to increasingly bypass Russia's traditional aviation hub, Moscow, operating instead a growing number of flights on routes directly from various regions in Russia, while the carrier is also operating flights from all three major airport in Moscow - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo.
In the fleet of Transaero are now 22 Boeing 747, 13 Boeing 777, 15 Boeing 767, 39 Boeing 737, and three Tu-214 aircraft.
