Oct 04, 2012 (newstodate): Media in Pakistan claim that Pakistan International Airlines will pull out from routes to Manchester and Amsterdam from October 26, 2012.
Still unconfirmed by the carrier, the decision is allegedly a result of a new agreement between PIA and Turkish Airlines.
That would only European services from Pakistan by PIA to London, Toronto, Oslo, Paris and Copenhagen.
Sources in Scandinavia however say that plans are to cut also PIA services to Copenhagen due to strong competition from Gulf carriers, leaving only flights to Oslo, London, Toronto, and Paris in the European scene.
Same sources also claim that PIA will use Oslo as an intermediate point on its traffic between USA and Pakistan.
So far, however, none of these information can be verified at the moment.
