Oct 02, 2012 (newstodate): Newcomer to Copenhagen Airport from January 2013 will be the Greek carrier Minoan Air.
Founded in September 2011, the Crete-based carrier plans to set up a new operational base at London Oxford Airport as a starting point for new routes to Copenhagen as well as to Munich, Amsterdam, Dublin and Edinburgh.
The carrier will target the business travel segment primarily, and is currently operating a fleet of four Fokker 50 aircraft, soon to increase to five Fokker 50.
Minoan Air has also signed an agreement with Flyglinjen Sweden to connect Kristianstad with Arlanda Stockholm with 14 rotations per week from October 22, 2012.
