Oct 09, 2012 (newstodate): The new Georgian carrier Fly Georgia has now launched its first flight into West Europe.
Starting from October 6, 2012, Fly Georgia is online on its new route between Tbilisi and Amsterdam, offering two weekly rotations on the route using Airbus A319.
In the plans are also flights from Tbilisi to destinations including Berlin, Minsk, Dubai, London, Rome, and Vilnius, besides the domestic route between Tbilisi and Batumi.
The privately-owned carrier, based at Tbilisi Airport, took delivery of its first Airbus A319 aircraft on July 28, 2012, and plans are to receive a second aircraft of this type before the end of the year.
