Oct 12, 2012 (newstodate): Despite a general downturn in Russia's airfreight, Moscow Domodedovo Airport continues to grow its cargo volumes in 2012.
During the period January-September 2012, the airport generated a total of 140,674 tonnes of cargo - an increase by 3.9 percent, y-o-y.
In September 2012 alone, a total of 17,683 tonnes of cargo was handled, up six percent, y-o-y.
The airport's current estimates are for an all-year growth in volumes by 4.7 percent, y-o-y.
