Oct 10, 2012 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier RAF-AVIA remains rather satisfied with business in 2012, with all aircraft fully occupied.
In the fleet of RAF-Avia are eight An-26 and two SAAB 340A freighters, and the aircraft are stationed with customers at various airports.
-Among our long-time customers are DHL, and we have now also been contracted by TNT, while the An-26 aircraft stationed since early this summer at Magdeburg/Cochstedt Airport in Germany for charter operations is now flying for ACS, says Elena Rigere, RAF-AVIA commercial manager.
-We have experienced a sound performance in 2012, and the ownership of the company has recently changed with new shareholders to define the future development, says Ms Rigere.
