Oct 12, 2012 (newstodate): Lithuania's Baltic Aviation Academy has been assigned by Qatar Airways to recruit new cabin crew members from the Baltics as well as from Poland.
A total of 100 finalists will be recommended after a first round of evaluation, conducted in Vilnius, Lithuania, later this month.
A second round of evaluation will follow before the end of this month, aiming at selecting new cabin staff to be based with the carrier in Doha on three-year open-ended contracts.
Qatar Airways is launching flights on a new route between Doha and Warsaw from December 5, 2012, offering five weekly rotations.
So far no plans for launch of flights into the Baltic region have been aired by Qatar Airways.
