Oct 10, 2012 (newstodate): Denmark's aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital has closed the book on the financial year 2011/12 with all figures firmly in the black, profits rising and aircraft fleet expanding.
At the end of the period, NAC counted a total of 171 aircraft in its fleet, 24 more than the preceding year, and NAC also expects to exceed a fleet of 200 aircraft during the current financial year securing the company's position as the world's largest regional lessor of turboprop aircraft.
NAC currently has approximately 80 employees, with 50 working in Billund, Denmark and about 25 in regional sales offices in Singapore, Ireland and North America.
NAC expects to hire a further 20-24 employees during the next 12 months.
