Oct 01, 2012 (newstodate): The Danish IATA export airfreight market showed positive growth in August 2012.
A total of 6,084 tonnes of cargo was sold in the Danish market by IATA carriers, an increase by 2.2 percent, y-o-y.
Top selling IATA carrier in August 2012 was SAS Cargo, 957 tonnes and up 18.8 percent, y-o-y.
Second came KLM Cargo, 670 tonnes but down 21 percent, followed by #3, Lufthansa Cargo that increased by 14.9 percent to 614 tonnes.
#4 was Thai Airways with 516 tonnes and up nine percent, followed by Emirates with 404 tonnes, up no less than 45.5 percent, y-o-y.
Singapore Airlines Cargo, #8 on the list, dipped the most by 21.6 percent, y-o-y, to 359 tonnes, while #6, Qatar Airways showed the largest increase by 52.1 percent to 384 tonnes.
