Oct 09, 2012 (newstodate): With one exception, August, air cargo volumes at Iceland's Keflavik Airport have been growing month by month in 2012.
September thus saw growth returning as the airport handled a total of 3,479 tonnes of cargo, an increase by 6.8 percent, y-o-y.
That brought this year's total volumes to 28,798 tonnes, up 8.1 percent compared to last year.
In 2011, the airport handled a total of 36,672 tonnes of cargo and mail, up 5.7 percent, y-o-y.
