Jan 23, 2012 (newstodate): Starting from June 18, 2012, Air Greenland is back in Canada with a nonstop direct flight.
The carrier will operate two weekly rotations on the route between Nuuk and Iqaluit with a Dash 8 aircraft.
The route will be operated until September 3, 2012, but plans are to consider an extension of the flight if warranted by the market.
Besides tourism, the flight is also expected to attract travelers from the oil exploration industries, offering same-day onward connections with partner airlines to most destinations in Canada.
