Jan 03, 2012 (newstodate): Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is determined to boost its traffic volumes further.
In line with this, the airport is again lowering its airport charges for landing and use of infrastructure by five and four percent, respectively.
The new charges took effect from January 1, 2012, and apply to all carriers and types of aircraft.
During January-November 2011, passenger volumes at the airport increased by 16 percent, aircraft movements were up two percent, cargo volumes increased by 11 percent to 7,264 tonnes, and mail volumes remained unchanged at 857 tonnes, all percentages compared to same period in 2010.
