According to both Polish and Turkish media, and confirmed by comments by a Polish treasury ministry spokeswoman, the Polish carrier is in talks with two potential partners, one of which is Turkish Airlines.
Current owners of the airline are the Polish government, 68 percent, Regionalny Fundusz Gospodarczy S.A., 25 percent, and employees 6.93 percent.
Several attempts have been made to sell the state's stake in LOT, but so far the ailing airline has not succeeded in its efforts.
