Jan 12, 2012 (newstodate): SAS and Singapore Airlines have signed an MoU aiming at establishing a joint venture to introduce a jointly operated non-stop route between Stockholm and Singapore, as well as increased frequencies on the route between Copenhagen and Singapore.
Singapore Airlines currently operates three weekly passenger flights between Copenhagen and Singapore, and the JV may also pave the way for a new route between Stockholm and Singapore, served with aircraft from Singapore Airlines.
No airline currently operates non-stop flights between these two cities.
The MoU involves the co-ordination of flight schedules and joint sales activities.
