Jan 27, 2012 (newstodate): Air traffic between Denmark and states in the Gulf Region keeps rising in 2012.
Effective from March 3, 2012, Bahrain-based Gulf Air will increase frequency on its flights to Copenhagen from four to five weekly rotations with Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Plying the air between Denmark and the Gulf region are also Emirates offering daily rotations between Dubai and Copenhagen using Boeing 777-200 aircraft, and Qatar Airways offering daily rotations with Airbus A330 aircraft.
First to enter the market was Qatar Airways calling at Copenhagen from March 30, 2010, followed by Gulf Air starting from July 1, 2011, and finally Emirates launching flights from Dubai to Copenhagen on August 1, 2011.
