Jan 25, 2012 (newstodate): This summer, Latvia's airBaltic is to resume seasonal services on the route between Latvia and Ireland.
Effective from June 1, 2012, airBaltic will offer four weekly rotations on the route between Riga and Dublin following on repeated calls in the market and high demand for air transportation between the Baltic region and Ireland.
airBaltic first opened flights from Riga to Dublin on April 3, 2004, also adding flights from Vilnius, in Lithuania, to Dublin from spring 2010 - an operation that was however closed down from summer 2011.
This summer, airBaltic will thus be competing with Ryanair on the route between Riga and Dublin.
