Jan 24, 2012 (newstodate): Effective from March 25, 2012, the Latvian carrier airBaltic raise capacity on flights between Riga and Moscow.
In cooperation with Transaero Airlines, airBaltic will offer seven weekly flights between Riga and Moscow Domodedovo Airport against five in summer 2011, while continuing to offer four daily flights between Riga and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport in cooperation with Aeroflot.
-Over the last year, airBaltic has achieved an increase by 31 percent in passenger volumes on the routes to Russian destinations. By increasing flight frequencies to Moscow Domodedovo, airBaltic will improve its service both to local passengers, and passengers transiting via Riga. airBaltic will thus offer five daily flights between Riga and Moscow during this summer, says Martin Gauss, airBaltic CEO.
