Jan 05, 2012 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier and ACMI provider, Jet Time will be back in Greenland also in summer 2012.
The carrier has been contracted by Air Greenland to bolster capacity during the busy summer season, and will operate one Boeing 737-300 aircraft on routes between Copenhagen and Greenland destinations Kangerlussuaq and Narsarsuaq.
From June 22 to August 13, 2012, Jet Time will operate three weekly rotations on the route to Kangerlussuaq, and three weekly rotations between June 19 and August 30, 2012, on the route to Narsarsuaq.
Jet Time's Boeing 737-300 operations will support Air Greenland's own Airbus A330 flights between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq during the summer peak.
Jet Time had its debut in Greenland in summer 2011, contracted by Air Greenland to perform four weekly flights between Copenhagen Airport and Greenland, with two flights to Narsarsuaq and to Kangerlussuaq, respectively.
Jet Time is operating seven Boeing 737-300 passenger aircraft and two Boeing 737-700NG aircraft, with a third Boeing 737-700NG aircraft to be added early in 2012, as well as two Boeing 737-300QC aircraft.
