Jan 11, 2012 (newstodate): The Irish carrier Aer Lingus has now confirmed its return to the Swedish market.
Effective from March 25, 2012, the carrier will launch flights on the route between Dublin and Stockholm, offering four weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
More than 10 years have lapsed since Aer Lingus pulled out from route to Stockholm, and the carrier also operated flights between Dublin and Copenhagen until summer 2008, but has not since aired any intentions of returning this service.
Also from this summer's schedule, Aer Lingus will increase frequency on its route from Dublin to Helsinki, Finland - the only Nordic destination now on the route map and currently served with three weekly rotations.
