Jan 26, 2012 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways has taken delivery of a new Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The aircraft is still at Boeing's plant in Seattle, with the delivery flights to Tashkent pending an improvement of weather conditions for the trans-Atlantic flight.
The carrier received its first Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in 1996, and is still building up its fleet currently comprising five of these aircraft, with four more, including this latest unit, to come.
The new aircraft is to be introduced in commercial service from the start of the coming summer schedule.
