Jan 27, 2012 (newstodate): Volga-Dnepr Group's carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines has now taken delivery of its first Boeing 747-8F aircraft.
The new freighter was handed over in Seattle on January 26, 2012, and the aircraft is thus the first of five ordered by ABC Airlines.
Besides the firm orders, ABC also holds options for a further five unites, yet not exercised.
The carrier operates an all-Boeing 747 fleet of freighter including two Boeing 747-200F, one Boeing 747-300F, three Boeing 747-400F and five Boeing 747-400ERF, in addition to the latest newcomer, the Boeing 747-8F.
Based at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, ABC Airlines launched operations on April 1, 2004, as the Volga-Dnepr Group's scheduled freighter company.
