Jan 30, 2012 (newstodate): Tallinn Airport is seeing bright prospects for developing into a Baltic hub, primarily based on the Estonian carrier Estonian Air's expansive plans.
But Estonian Air will see fresh competition on its important routes, including the route between Estonia and Denmark.
Thus, the new carrier Flybe Nordic has lifted the veil off plans for new routes in Denmark in 2012, including the opening of flights between Copenhagen Airport and Tallinn, where Estonian is today the only provider of direct services.
Estonia is already a major market for Flybe Nordic that operates flights on routes to from Tallinn to Vaasa, Oulu, Turku and Tampere in Finland, as well as to Stockholm Bromma Airport, in Sweden.
