Jan 06, 2012 (newstodate): The Czech carrier CSA has a strategy of eastward expansion into Russia and the CIS.
In the plans now is the opening of new flights from Praguea to Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
CSA will offer two to four weekly rotations on the route, to be served only during the summer schedule.
If carrier through, Ufa will become the carrier's sixth Russian destination served from Prague, besides Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Rostov on Don.
CSA also operates flights from Karlovy Vary to Moscow, St Petersburg and Samara.
