Jan 09, 2012 (newstodate): Cargo and mail volumes increased in 2011 at Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
A total of 8,025 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, representing an increase by eight percent, y-o-y.
Also 972 tonnes of mail was handled - an increase by one percent, y-o-y.
To boost volumes further in both passenger and cargo traffic, the airport has lowered its airport charges for landing and use of infrastructure by five and four percent, respectively, with effect from January 1, 2012.
