Jan 26, 2012 (newstodate): The Polish carrier EuroLot has decided to base its future on new Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 aircraft.
The carrier, owned by the Polish state and the Polish carrier Lot, will reportedly now order 12 Q400 aircraft to be operated not only on the existing network primarily comprising Polish domestic destinations, but also on new international routes from Poland.
Plans are to take delivery of up to four of these new aircraft ahead of the Euro 2012 football event.
EuroLot currently operates a fleet of 11 ATR aircraft as well as three Embraer 175 aircraft.
