Jan 23, 2012 (newstodate): According to industry sources, yet officially unconfirmed, Estonian Air is planning to replace its fleet of new Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.
The carrier is reportedly considering to switch over to a fleet of Embraer aircraft, placing orders for delivery of three Embraer 190, while taking in three Embraer 170 on a lease contract pending the arrival of the new aircraft.
The first Estonian Air CRJ900 was introduced in commercial service on January 27, 2011, the second aircraft was added in February 2011, and the last of the aircraft ordered was delivered in December 2011.
