Jan 24, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Aeroflot is now to take delivery of its 5th Superjet 100 aircraft.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Aeroflot signed the Act of Delivery & Acceptance on January 23, 2012, paving the road for final delivery of the aircraft that will next fly from Komsomolsk-on-the Amur to Moscow on January 27, 2012, for entry into commercial service on the carrier's domestic and international route network.
Five Superjet 100 aircraft are already in service with Armavia and Aeroflot, and by the mid of January 2012 these aircraft had accumulated over 3,650 flight hours in almost 1,940 revenue flights.
