Sep 14, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Orenair is set to become a new operator of the Boeing 777.
The carrier is taking delivery of one Boeing 777, formerly operated by the French carrier Air Austral, and will thus become the second Russian operator after Aeroflot of this aircraft type.
Orenair, based at Orenburg Tsentralny Airport, operates a network of domestic flights as well as charter flights with a fleet comprising 81 aircraft, and the Boeing 777 will be the airline's first wide-body long haul aircraft.
