Sep 26, 2011 (newstodate): Estonian Air is calling its owners to a Shareholders Meeting before the end of this month to present a new strategy for the airline.
Several scenarios have been worked out for the shareholders to discuss, and once the winning scenario emerges details as to future fleet, network and role to play will settle.
The airline has earlier confirmed that it may eventually end up with a fleet comprising some 15 aircraft by 2015, but the aircraft composition will depend on the scenario.
Ahead of the meeting, the airlines has confirmed changes in its top-level management headed by Tero Taskila as CEO since June 1, 2011, with Wade Stokes taking up the position as CFO from September 19, 2011, and Jyri Ketola chairing as COO from September 15, 2011.
Also members of the management board are now Signe Vaks-Saareoja, Chief People Officer, and Rauno Parras, continuing as the carrier's Chief Commercial Officer.
