Sep 21, 2011 (newstodate): Without much noise, the Icelandic low-cost carrier Icelandic Express has got at "new" man at the top position as CEO.
Taking up the office is Birgir Jonsson, who comes from a job as director of Infopress Group, a leading printing company.
Out went Icelandic Express' CEO since 2006, Matthias Imsland, reportedly after a joint agreement.
The new CEO, Birgir Jonsson is familiar with Iceland Express where he served as its CEO during 2004-2006 after a period as the carrier's marketing manager prior to that.
