Sep 20, 2011 (newstodate): Malmo Sturup Airport, in southern Sweden, will see more traffic to Belgrade, Serbia, from December 13, 2011.
The Hungarian LCC WIZZ Air, already offering three weekly rotations on the route between Malmoe and Belgrade, will add two more weekly flights, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
This will bring the number of weekly rotations by WIZZ Air at Belgrade Nicola Tesla airport to 25, prompting the carrier to draw in more capacity from other European bases to support the Serb operations.
Flights between Malmo and Belgrade started in December 2010, and WIZZ Air first made its entry into Malmo from September, 2004, with flights to Budapest and Warsaw
