Sep 28, 2011 (newstodate): Poland is to become the key strategic market for the German carrier OLT that is now pulling out from its German route network.
The carrier is now cooperating with the Polish carrier Jet Air, like OLT owned by the Polish Amber Group, to set up an extensive new route network in and from Poland.
Effective from October 31, 2011, OLT Jetair will serve two new routes between Germany and Poland, from Berlin to Gdansk and Wroclaw.
Both routes will be operated three times weekly with ATR 46-300 aircraft.
From November 15, 2011, OLT Jetair will add five weekly rotations between Gdansk and Hamburg as well as two weekly rotations between Gdansk and Prague, also using ATR 42-300.
OLT Jetair is to introduce domestic flights in Poland between Rzeszow and Warsaw with BAe Jetstream 32, as well as twice daily services from Gdansk and Wroclaw to Warsaw.
