Sep 20, 2011 (newstodate): Hungarian carrier Malev is heading for a first when it comes to re-establishing air traffic between Europe and post-Gaddafi Libya.
Effective from October 23, 2011, Malev plans to introduce five weekly rotations between Budapest and Libya's Tripoli International Airport, using Boeing 737-600 aircraft on the route.
Tripoli International Airport is, however still closed to commercial air traffic, but the curfew is expected to be lifted from September 21, 2011.
