Sep 02, 2011 (newstodate): The Czech carrier Czech Connect Airlines, based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, is revising its strategy from 2011.
Rather than continue the expansion of its route network that has been growing also in 2011, the carrier plans to instead scale back the network and increase frequencies on the remaining lines instead.
With the new approach, the carrier will optimize its route network and focus more intensely on strengthening routes with growth potentials.
Earlier named Czech Connect Airlines, Central Connect Airlines is part of the Central Connect Group that includes Job Air providing SAAB 340 aircraft maintenance and cargo conversions, and Let´s Fly, a Slovak aviation school.
The carrier was established in 2005 and now operates one Boeing 737-300 and one Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
