Sep 23, 2011 (newstodate): Russia's Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport has landed a new customer in the Asia-Europe segment.
Cargolux has signed an agreement with the airport allowing for technical stop services on the carrier's flights between Asia and Europe.
Initially, Cargolux will call at Tolmachevo Airport on four weekly rotations, but the volume will grow as warranted by the market.
The first Cargolux technical stop at the airport was on September 22, 2011, when a Boeing 747-400F freighter was handled on its flights between Seoul, Korea, and Europe.
