Sep 30, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Yakutia Airlines is due to receive its first Superjet 100 aircraft in 2012 - slightly behind the original schedule
The first delivery was earlier slated for December 2011, but the date has now been pushed back to early in 2012 instead.
Earlier plans also scheduled the delivery of the second Superjet 100 for March 2012, but this will probably also be delayed.
The carrier, based at Yakutsk, holds options for a further two Superjet 1000 to join its existing fleet of aircraft including four Boeing 737-700,three Boeing 737-800 and eight Boeing 757-200 aircraft besides 24 Soviet-built aircraft of various types.
